ABOUT
History
NET was founded in 2012 by owner and CEO Laquita Nelson as a private consulting venture to assess, plan, and overhaul existing systems for state and commercial customers. This endeavor led to additional projects in network security.
The company expanded into government contracting and was awarded a prime federal contract to provide data analytics and database development. Additional government contracts followed, including a research project for the CDC in evaluating an array of state and federal health-related systems. NET continues to support contracts for the CDC as well as Health and Human Services (HHS), the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the United States Army (USARMY), the Department of Justice (DOJ), the United States Department of Agriculture, (USDA) and the Missile Space Intelligence Center (MSIC) in areas of information technology, system engineering, network and cyber security training.
